Jessica is an award-winning creative content writer for small business owners, brands, and publications. She blends creative storytelling and the world of online content to craft words that captivate audiences.
After studying journalism, communications, and English at Oklahoma State University, I went to work as the “designated writer” for in-house public relations teams, marketing groups, and international corporations. I've collaborated with 3-man creative crews and companies with 50,000 global employees, and learned first-hand about the power of people-focused storytelling.
I believe authentic, true-to-you content is the core of a sustainable, trustworthy brand. And that’s why I started Jessica Willingham Creative.
I’m not a technical writer or grammar hound. I believe that language is fluid, and it’s here to serve us — not the other way around. So working with me isn’t like taking lessons from your high school AP English teacher. It’s more like trading notes with a friend. We’ll laugh, have fun, and work collaboratively to craft content that sounds just like you.
branding for creative business owners
I co-founded Rarest Fortune, a studio specializing in brand identity for born creatives, in 2016 with my business bestie Jessica Bramlett. We're a writer and designer joining forces to create logos, social media content, Squarespace website design, and more. Our clients live creative lives and run passionate businesses, so we love working with stylists, photographers, yogis, and coaches.
Our branding for small business owners gives voice and visuals to your unique vision, so you can not only dream of that thing you were meant to do — you can pursue it.
“My website copy is targeted to my dream customer thanks to Jessica. She was successful in taking my business ideas out of my head and creating them into words. Now, my customers instantly “get me” and my business. She continued to create new ideas through out the project, and I would absolutely recommend her.”
— Susan Bernard, Cashmere Suitcase
“Jessica took her time gaining a very nuanced understanding of who I am as a business woman and where my passions are.
She then crafted the perfect bio that describes me and my business better than I could. I highly suggest using her to enhance your online image!”
